The Mini GPS is a new generation low cost 'matchbox' sized tracking solution with ultra sensitive GPS that is designed to work with your mobile phone. It is a GPS/GSM tracking device that offers superb value for money. You may track the device from your mobile phone as well as your PC.
The Mini GPS is powered by its internal rechargeable battery and battery life is up to two days depending on usage. As an optional extra you can add a battery extension pack that will power the tracker for up to five days.
• You ring the device when you want to know its location.
• A text message is sent back to your mobile phone with a map link and the latitude and longitude.
• To view the map on your internet phone click on the map link displayed in the text (you need a phone with colour screen and GPRS connectivity).
• To view the map on your PC type the latitude and longitude into Google Earth.
• The first years phone mapping is included in the cost of this tracker. In year two and subsequent years there is an annual mapping fee of £39.99 for the phone maps if you choose to continue using the phone mapping facility.

You will need to put a sim card into the device and keep credit on the sim to enable the device to send locations. The sim card may be either pay as you go or contract.
A magnetic case for outside vehicle use is available as a cost option to add to the shopping cart with this product. When using outside a vehicle the tracker should be fitted under the rear bumper cover so that it can get a horizontal satellite fix. A waterproof cover (eg self seal bag) should also be used and please note that the magnetic case will not hold the battery extension pack.
