This multifunctional detector utilises the latest technology and is extremely effective in tracking down wired and wireless spy cameras AND hidden wireless bugs that may be hiding anywhere in your bedroom, meeting room or office. It is designed for ease of use.
It works in three different modes: IR laser, Vibration alert, and Audible alert. The IR Laser option is used to detect hidden wireless and wired cameras. Detection is based upon the principle of optical augmentation. This means that if a hidden wired or wireless camera is illuminated and viewed with the IR Laser LEDs a strong reflection from the hidden camera will reveal its position to the user. Its camera detection range is up to 5 metres - it can detect all types of cameras, even the smallest pinhole spy camera.
The Vibration and Audible alert allows detection of wireless bugs and cameras by scanning for and locating RF & GSM signals from 0 to 6.5Ghz - this covers virtually all wireless bugs.
This handy device comes in a surprisingly small size - 10 x 5 x 2 cm - and can easily fit into your pocket.
The device requires two AAA batteries . The distance covered by the detecting device mainly depends on the power of the bug that is being detected. For example, a bug with 50mv-200mv power may be detected up to a distance of 30 to 50 cm; whereas a bug with 300 to 600mv power may be detected up to 2 metres; and for 800mv to 1200mv powered bugs the distance could be up to 8 metres. Just like our Pro Bug Detector it allows you to make sensitivity adjustments that enable detection of signals at different power outputs. Once you have reached the suspected area, just sweep the area, adjust the sensitivity and you will easily detect the location of the bug.
